According to Wanted Analytics: “In July, staffing agencies posted more than 390,000 new online job ads, the highest volume so far this year. Job ads by recruiting and staffing firms were up 10% from the previous month and 32% from July 2010. Since the beginning of the year, staffing firms have advertised more than 2.5 million jobs in the US, accounting for 28% of all jobs that have been listed online.”
They continued: “With Healthcare and IT being two of the hottest fields right now, it is not surprising that these jobs dominate the list below, which has the 10 occupations most advertised by staffing agencies in July. More than 55,000 ads were placed for Registered Nurse openings as the most in-demand job in the US. Of the 10 most demanded occupations below, RN’s also experienced the highest year-over-year growth. Web Developers saw the most demand of any tech related job.”
At the USJobNetwork.com, we believe this is a fairly good sign for job seekers across the board. If demand is reaching the recruitment firms across the country, it means corporate recruiters need to outsource their search requirements. Stay tuned, this graph could likely change as we head into an unknown economic climate subject to significant pressure from consumer driven data.
