Detroit Continues to Rock: Hiring Pace is Steady

According to Wanted Analytics: “Hiring demand in the Detroit area continues to grow.  Employers and recruiting agencies placed more than 34,000 new online job ads over the past 60 days – a 8.6% increase versus the same time period in 2010.

Out of the most in-demand occupations, five saw year-over-year increases and five saw decreases.  Industrial and Mechanical Engineers are the top two positions that employers in the Detroit area are currently trying to fill.
