Starting 2012: Top Job Postings and Job Posters/Companies

Wanted Analytics shares with us the following data to start 2012:

There have been just over 750,000 new job ads placed in the first three weeks of 2012.  We thought it would be interesting to take a look at what types of positions employers were looking to fill, where those positions are located and who is doing the hiring.

First up, the top twenty positions currently being advertised are pretty similar to the positions we’ve been seeing posted towards the end of 2011.  At the top of our list are Registered Nurses, Computer Systems Analysts, Web Developers, First-Line Supervisors of Retail Sales Workers, and Truck Drivers.  Are you surprised by any of the occupations on the top twenty list?  Anything you expected to see but didn’t?  Or, didn’t expect to see?
