Forklift Mechanic in Phoenix

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Forklift Mechanics to join our team in a bustling production and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining and repairing forklifts and other industrial vehicles, ensuring they are safe and operational to support our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair forklifts, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct regular maintenance and safety inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Respond to and resolve emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with the production team to schedule repairs and maintenance with minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
• Order and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and practices in forklift maintenance and repair.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and safety gear.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Mechanic or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in forklifts and other industrial vehicles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical or electrical repair is a plus.
• Forklift certification and a valid driver s license.
