Principle Duties include but are not limited to:
Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Operations, the incumbent in this position is responsible for the overall management and direction of operations for California. Responsibilities will include: FM or Computer Operations, Communications, Customer Service, Depot/Repair (outside the US), Marketing, Up-selling, and Administration. The incumbent is responsible for the optimal use of resources to achieve sales and profit potential and to meet contractual obligations.
Develops and plans the annual operating budget for one or more lottery operations. Analyzes operating and financial reports to monitor actual performance against budget forecasts. Develops short and long range plans to maximize growth and profit. Assist the regional VP in developing jurisdiction objectives and ensures compliance with objectives. Develops and effectively executes comprehensive account penetration plans, strategies, and contract renewals. Leads in the introduction of new games and system enhancements. Ensures the provision of timely, efficient and appropriate service to current accounts. Negotiates major requirements, deadlines and concerns with lottery officials. Devises alternative methods to improve efficiency and profit and to enhance market posture. Promotes client relations by meeting with potential and existing customers in the appropriate jurisdiction to demonstrate products and standards of
Reviews and assigns staffing for each functional organization. Develops personnel for growth and to advance the jurisdiction's depth of business and technical knowledge.
Minimum education
- Four-year degree or equivalent level business experience.
Years Experience
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and of the specific geographic market in which the business operates, minimum of 5 years. Successful management level prior business experience in the appropriate geography.
